Usage and limits
How credits are counted and how fast you can send requests.
Credits
API previews and studio previews share your plan’s monthly allowance. The Business plan includes 300 previews a month.
- A preview uses one credit.
- A 4K upscale uses one more.
- A failed preview uses none.
- Deleting a preview does not return its credit.
When the allowance runs out, new previews are refused with the error quota_exceeded until it resets. Check what is left with Get usage.
Rate limits
- Up to 3 previews can be in progress at once.
- Each key can make 60 requests a minute.
A request over the limit gets the status code 429. For the request limit, the Retry-After header says how many seconds to wait.
